Hummus

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups of chickpeas

  • 1/3 cup lemon juice

  • 1/3 cup tahini

  • half of a garlic clove (chopped)

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin

  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika (plus an extra pinch for garnish)

  • 1 tablespoon water

  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (for garnish)

*Maintain bone structure
*Helps lower blood pressure
*Prevents inflammation
*Decreases tumor growth rates

Step 1: Add all ingredients except garnish pieces into a food processor and blend.
Step 2: Let it cool in the fridge for 15 minutes.

Step 3: Garnish with pinch of paprika and tablespoon of chopped parsley.

Step 4: Ready to serve!

Pesto Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 cup basil leaves

  • 1/2 cup pistachios

  • 1/4 cup cashews

  • 1/3 cup lemon juice 

  • 1/3 cup parmesan (plus a pinch for garnish)

  • 1/3 cup olive oil

  • 1 small garlic clove

  • 1 tablespoon water

Step 1: Add all ingredients into a food processor except for pinch of parmesan and blend.
Step 2: Let it cool in the fridge for 15 minutes.
Step 3: Garnish with pinch of parmesan.
Step 3: Ready to serve!

Guacamole

Ingredients

  • 2 avocados 

  • 1 tablespoon onion (chopped)

  • 1/2 cup tomato (chopped)

  • 1 garlic clove (chopped)

  • 1/3 cup lemon juice

  • 1/4 cup chives (chopped)

  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • pinch of sea salt

  • 1 tablespoon of parsely for garnish (chopped)
     

Step 1: Add all ingredients except the parsley into a food processor. Blend. 
Step 2: Pour mixture into a small bowl. Add the parsley for garnish.
Step 3: Ready to serve!

Mixed Bean Dip

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup cannellini beans 

  • 1/3 cup chickpeas

  • 1/4 cup kidney beans

  • 1/4 cup lima beans

  • 1/4 cup pinto beans

  • 1/4 cup borlotti beans

  • 1 garlic clove

  • 2 tablespoons sunflower seeds

  • 1/3 cup lemon juice

  • 2 teaspoons olive oil

  • pinch of onion powder

  • 2 tablespoons carrot (spiralized for garnish)

Step 1: Add all ingredients to a food processor (except the spiralized carrot) and blend until smooth.
Step 2: Add the spiralized carrot ontop for garnish.
Step 3: Ready to serve!

Tomato Salsa

Ingredients

  • 5 medium tomatos (chopped)

  • 1/4 cup red onion (chopped)

  • 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons (for garnish) green onion (chopped)

  • 1/3 cup parsley (chopped)

  • half a garlic clove

  • 1/4 cup lime juice

  • pinch of dried oregano

  • pinch of black pepper

Step 1: Place all ingredients, except the 2 tablespoons of green onion for garnish, in a food processor. Only blend for a couple of seconds or it will turn into liquid!
Step 2: Garnish with green onion.
Step 3: Ready to serve!

Curried Lentil Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown lentils (cooked) + a tablespoon (cooked) for garnish

  • 1.2 garlic clove (minced)

  • 1 tablespoon tahini

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • pinch of curry powder 

Step 1: Place all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth, except for a tablespoon of the lentils so you can use them for garnish.
Step 2: Garnish with the tablespoon of lentils.
Step 3: Ready to serve!
